Are you in the market for a double jogging stroller? That must mean you have 2 children you need to fit into one stroller. There are many things to consider before purchasing one. A double jogging stroller for infant and toddler comes in two basic designs - side by side or tandem. In the side by side, the children sit next to each other while in the tandem they sit one behind the other. There are advantages and disadvantages to both styles
The side by side stroller is wider than the tandem and becomes somewhat difficult to push through a standard sized door. However, the tandem is usually heavier than the side by side and that makes it more difficult to maneuver. The side by side seems to work best if the children are approximately the same size (it's more balanced). If you have an infant and a toddler in the same stroller, perhaps the tandem would be a better choice.
Assuming you know which style you want, there are still other factors affecting your purchase.
Weight of the stroller - is it so heavy you can't get it in & out of your vehicle?
Maneuverability - how are you planning on using your stroller? For jogging? Walking? Indoors? Outdoors?
Storage - how much space do you need for all the other paraphernalia you carry with small children?
Shade - if you'll be spending a lot of time in the bright sun, what kind of canopy does it have?
Handlebar height -how tall is the person pushing the stroller? Is the handle height adjustable?
Cost - how much can you afford? A double jogging stroller can cost less than 0 or over 0 and everything in between.
Whew! It may seem like a lot to think about but carefully considering how you are going to use your double jogging stroller for infant and toddler will help you make a wise decision!!
